| Focus of camps |
You will work with all instructors on a rotating
basis to give you a total of three sessions with each instructor.
This will help you build on your previous day's successes.
Focus: to create drive and precision on equipment, while building
behaviours using your clicker. Also covered: distance work, jumping
analysis and handling exercises. Video analysis will assist instructors
to help each dog & handler improve as a team.
The camps will be held at Say Yes Dog Training set on 28 secluded
acres. Plenty of room to run, and ponds to swim your dogs in. We
are also happy to introduce our brand new 13,000+ sq. ft. indoor
agility facility. We are located 20 minutes from Hamilton International
Airport and 45 minutes from Toronto's Airport.
Indoor crating will be available for all participating dogs.
|
| Group sizes |
Camps will be limited to 18 dog & handler teams
for our Puppy Camps and 40 dog & handler teams for the Summer
Camps. A second dog is welcome but only one dog may be worked per
exercise.
Handlers will be working in groups of 10 dogs, with one instructor
and one assistant per group. Camps will be packed with activities
during the day with optional evening activities such as the popular
60 weave pole challenge!
We will help you make the most of the principles of Operant Conditioning.
Your use of the clicker will be expanded to include all aspects
of dog training.
Those returning to Say Yes Clicker Agility Camp will enjoy building
upon clicker concepts learned at previous camps, as well as working
through new agility challenges and strategies.
